Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

At Throwback Tops, we specialise in mystery and vintage football shirts. Many of our shirts are pre-loved classics and are guaranteed to be in at least 8/10 condition. Due to the age and nature of vintage football shirts, some items may have minor pulls, bobbles, small marks, or signs of storage and wear. Any such imperfections are considered normal and do not constitute a fault.

Returns & Refunds

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • The item must be in the same condition as it was received.
  • The item must be unworn and unused.
  • Any original tags (where applicable) must still be attached.
  • The item must be returned with proof of purchase.

Please note: Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for their own return shipping costs. Throwback Tops does not provide or pay for return shipping labels.

Returns sent without first contacting us and receiving approval will not be accepted.

Mystery Shirt Returns

As a mystery football shirt company, the core concept of our product is that customers receive a completely random football shirt from anywhere in the world.

While we always try to avoid sending shirts from rival clubs specified by customers, we cannot guarantee specific clubs, leagues, colours, or shirt designs due to stock availability.

Because of the mystery nature of the product, we do not accept returns or refunds simply because you do not like the shirt you receive.

Exchanges

If you receive a shirt in the wrong size, please contact us at admin@throwbacktops.co.uk within 30 days of delivery.

We will gladly arrange an exchange, subject to stock availability. Please note that due to the unique nature of our inventory, you may not receive the exact same shirt in exchange.

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning the original item to us.

Damages, Faults & Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately at admin@throwbacktops.co.uk if:

  • Your item arrives damaged beyond the condition described above.
  • You receive the wrong item.
  • You believe there is a significant fault with the product.

We will assess the issue and work with you to resolve it.

Please remember that vintage and pre-loved shirts may naturally show minor signs of age such as pulls, bobbles, slight marks, or fabric wear. These characteristics are expected and are reflected in our minimum 8/10 condition grading.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Sale or clearance items.
  • Gift cards.
  • Custom or personalised products.
  • Items returned in a different condition from when they were supplied.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is delivered to a country within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification.

To qualify, the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Customers remain responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping costs.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that banks and card providers may take additional time to process and post the refund.
